In the world of Seyrawyn, dragons have a high level of consciousness and can live for over a thousand years! The baby dragon will spend between 100 and 300 years in its shell before hatching to live its life and walk alongside its proud dragon rider. This is a time when he is vulnerable, but also attentive to any new teaching. The baby dragon is free to think and has its own experiences. He sees life through the eyes of his dragon rider and feels all its emotions. To hatch, the dragon must evolve. To evolve, it must be mentally connected to an intelligent creature. Since baby dragons are born neutral, the dragon rider who trains them will influence their dragon's personality.

The philosophy

During the Dragon Rider's Oath, the dragon rider pledges to protect, teach by example, and care for his dragon egg. He agrees to follow the dragon riders' code of life: respect - knowledge - challenges. A magical bond is then established permanently between the two. The dragon in return undertakes to bring him aid and comfort by sharing his innate strength, each helping the other. Thus, dragon eggs are allies that help us develop skills to accomplish the great Quest of our lives.
